Setup and tuning with the R12 ver.2 hub

The Yokomo R12-24HL2 is a left rear hub developed for the R12 chassis. The ver.2 design relocates the clamp from the wheel-mount surface to the bulkhead side and adopts a counterbalanced shape that compensates for the mounting screw mass.

Placing the clamp on the bulkhead side improves local weight distribution and cuts rotational wobble, which helps preserve consistent tyre contact while rotating and can enhance traction performance. Since the clamp sits on the bulkhead side, the hub can be removed or fitted with the wheel still attached, making quick changes faster during wet or time-pressed pit work.

The ver.2 contour also allows quicker swaps of the height adapter when switching tyre diameter, so ride-height tweaks and corner-weight adjustments can be accomplished more rapidly during setup. Fitment is intended for the Yokomo R12 chassis.
