XT2/XB2 long wheelbase 2.5mm aluminium chassis

The XRAY 321127 is a one-piece 2.5mm aluminium chassis plate created as an upgrade for XT2 and XB2 platforms that require a longer wheelbase for added stability. Its integrated kick-up is part of the plate geometry and affects how the chassis flexes with different mountings.

Manufactured from Swiss 7075 T6 aluminium, the plate is sized to fit contemporary battery formats used on these cars. It is suitable for both Dirt and Carpet variants so the same geometry can be retained across surfaces.

As a tuning element, this longer-wheelbase 2.5mm plate changes the car's balance and should be used in conjunction with suspension and weight placement changes to achieve the desired handling characteristics.

Remark :

Customer purchases the item is assumed to accept the waiting time which allows us to order directly from the manufacturer if the item is out of our warehouse.
The plate is made from Swiss 7075 T6 aluminium, a high-strength alloy. Normal cleaning and maintenance are recommended to keep mounting surfaces and edges in good condition.
Choose the 2.5mm plate when you need a stiffer baseline and improved straight-line stability; it is best applied when combined with complementary suspension and weight placement tuning.
The change in chassis stiffness and wheelbase can alter how the car transfers load; expect different traction behaviour on carpet versus dirt and adjust suspension setup accordingly.
Inspect mounting points and fasteners after each running session, check for bends or impact damage, and clean mating surfaces to ensure consistent fit and performance.
