Front titanium belly plate

Designed for the LOSI 5IVE-TE 3.0, this 1/5-scale front chassis plate is machined from titanium with a nominal 5mm thickness. It serves to absorb impacts and resist abrasion from sand and gravel encountered during off-road runs.

Manufacturing notes: wire-cut machining creates fine machining marks and occasional slight burrs along edges. Minor surface scuffs may appear in transit or handling; these are cosmetic and do not impair the part's fit or strength.

Tuning and installation role: the plate mounts to the front lower plane of the chassis to take hits ahead of the gearbox and motor mount areas, helping to keep alignment and reduce wear on suspension mounts. Use medium-strength thread adhesive on the designated screws to help prevent vibration-induced loosening. Check fastener torque after initial runs and after heavy impacts.

Packing and hardware: the kit includes the titanium plate and the specified black flat head screws for mounting, supplied pre-assembled. Inspect screw counts on receipt and keep spare screws available for field repairs.

Compatible Models

  • LOSI 1/5 5IVE-TE 3.0 Electric 4WD Desert Truck RTR-LOS05022

For owners of the LOSI 5IVE-TE 3.0 wanting a tough, low-profile front underside shield, this titanium belly plate provides a stiff mounting surface and improved abrasion resistance; check for machining marks before installation and apply medium-strength screw glue on the fasteners.

Yes. Positioned to take initial impacts, the plate helps shield gearbox and motor mounts from direct hits, reducing the chance of misalignment from front-end impacts.
If desired, carefully remove small burrs with a fine file or stone. Take care not to remove material that alters fit. Cosmetic finishing is optional and not necessary for structural use.
The plate is low-mass relative to the vehicle and mounted forward; it should not noticeably alter handling. It can, however, change how front-end impacts are absorbed, which may slightly affect feedback during aggressive runs.
Inspect the plate for deformation and check all mounting screws for tightness. Also verify gearbox and motor mount alignment and re-torque fasteners as needed.
