High-Strength Rear Caliper for PROMOTO-MX

Designed for 1/4 PROMOTO-MX motorcycles, MX036 is a 7075 aluminium rear caliper intended as a durable replacement for factory plastic parts. The increased rigidity helps maintain pad alignment and control under repeated braking.

The caliper integrates with the bike's original brake linkage and mounting pattern and is aimed at hobbyists who want consistent brake action and simplified servicing rather than a change in brake balance.

Fitment should be completed on a bench using standard RC tools, confirming rotor clearance and fastener security during assembly. After fitting, check pad alignment and rotor runout before regular riding and include the caliper in your scheduled checks.

Do I need new hardware to fit MX036?

Use the original mounting hardware where it fits; if screws show wear or do not engage fully, replace with appropriate threaded fasteners of the correct grade and length.

Are there break-in steps for the caliper?

After installation run a few light brake cycles to seat pads and then recheck fasteners and alignment. This helps stabilise pad contact and rotor positioning.

Will this change brake power?

The caliper improves rigidity and maintenance access but does not fundamentally alter braking force; any change in feel will be due to reduced flex and better pad alignment.
