Upgrade rear arm for LOSI PROMOTO-MX

This replacement rear swing arm is built for LOSI PROMOTO-MX platforms and is identified as MX057A. Fabricated from 7075 aluminium, it replaces the stock plastic component to give improved wear resistance and better dimensional control under heavy use.

The arm is set up to take larger inner bearings and the kit includes 8x16x5 bearings to match the hub. Installing the alloy arm produces a slight change in wheel travel (listed as +1mm) while remaining compatible with the original chain tension mechanism.

Lengthwise adjustment features let you tweak chain tension rapidly during setup or maintenance. The supplied mounting hardware is intended to cover the common fastening points required for a normal fitment.

Will the new bearings need pressing in?

Bearings are supplied and should be press-fit into the hub or installed with standard bearing seating tools; careful alignment during fitment is recommended.

Can I reuse my stock hardware?

The kit includes Grade 12.9 cap head screws and lock nuts for the main mount points; you can reuse other stock items if they match the required dimensions.

Does the alloy arm change handling?

The switch to a stiffer aluminium arm may be felt as a firmer rear end response, though the dimensional change is small and primarily intended to add durability.
