Durable 7075-T6 knuckles and pull rods for PROMOTO-MX

The MX030 upgrade kit provides 7075-T6 aluminium knuckles and pull rods as an aftermarket option for LOSI PROMOTO-MX machines. The metal parts reduce steering flex and improve repeatability when adjusting suspension or steering geometry, while remaining installable with standard hobby tools.

The kit supplies larger inner bearing seats and includes four 4x10x4 bearings for direct swap. It is intended for LOSI 1/4 PROMOTO-MX motorcycle RTR models, including the PRO CIRCUIT edition, and is for RC use only.

Is installation beginner friendly?

Yes, standard RC hand tools and basic mechanical skills are enough; follow the front end disassembly steps for the PROMOTO-MX chassis.

Will aluminium cause wear to other parts?

Aluminium is stiffer than plastic but the kit uses standard bearings and mounting points, so it should not accelerate wear if installed and maintained correctly.

Can I use these with aftermarket forks?

They are compatible with PROMOTO-MX geometry; check fork mounting and clearance but the knuckles are intended to work with standard setups listed in the compatibility box.

Do bearings need greasing?

Use light bearing oil or grease suited for RC bearings; avoid heavy grease that can slow steering response.

Will this affect front-end weight balance?

Aluminium parts are heavier than plastic but the change is modest; you may notice slightly different feel but no major change to electronics or motor balance.
