Tamiya 95183 Jr Hyper-Dash PRO special edition motor

This Japan Cup 2026 special edition double-shaft Hyper-Dash Motor PRO is offered in commemorative packaging and targets experienced Mini 4WD builders looking for a balanced motor option. The design aims to provide a trade-off between rpm and torque suitable for multiple track layouts.

Silver-carbon mixed brushes are fitted to enhance electrical contact and expected durability versus standard brush compounds. The exterior features a black-and-gold label and a red end bell so the motor is easily identified when mounted.

The motor is intended for Mini 4WD PRO cars only and is supplied as a spare unit. Pinion gears are not included and should be sourced separately. Technical specifications are given below for tuning and setup.

Motor type: Double-shaft Hyper-Dash Motor PRO

Input voltage: 2.4-3.0 V

Torque at recommended load: 1.4-1.9 mN-m

RPM: 17,200-21,200 rpm

Current consumption: 1.6-3.0 A

Compatibility: Mini 4WD PRO cars only

Recommended pinion: 8T (sold separately)

Brush material: Silver-carbon mixed brushes

The commemorative styling combined with improved brush materials makes this release a practical upgrade for PRO racers and an attractive boxed item for collectors.

The motor's rpm band of 17,200 to 21,200 rpm and torque range of 1.4 to 1.9 mN-m should be matched with gearing to suit your track. Use the listed values to compute top speed and acceleration trade offs.
The manufacturer recommends an 8T pinion sold separately. Depending on track layout and chassis setup, different pinion counts can be tested but check mesh and clearance when changing gears.
Current consumption is listed at 1.6 to 3.0 A. Monitor temperature in prolonged runs; higher gearing or higher voltages can increase load and heating.
Inspect brush wear, commutator condition, and gear mesh. Replace worn brushes with compatible silver-carbon types to maintain performance.
The motor is designed for Mini 4WD PRO cars and offers a balanced performance profile. Confirm your club regulations and chassis compatibility before racing.
