The 3.9mm aluminium ball stud set is supplied as a direct-fit upgrade for Team Losi Mini-T linkage points. This pack includes 10 precision machined aluminium studs intended to replace the factory plastic or steel posts where the original specification lists Mini-T compatibility.

Installation steps are straightforward: remove the old ball studs from the linkage or bulkhead, confirm correct thread engagement and fit the aluminium studs. Tighten until firm without over-torquing to avoid stripping the miniature threads; use small hand tools matching the stud head and ensure the ball ends rotate freely in their cups.

Setup impact: replacing plastic posts with aluminium studs changes pivot stiffness and wear patterns at steering and suspension pivots. Aluminium provides a consistent metal bearing for ball cups and can reduce unwanted flex compared with softer plastics, which is useful when fine-tuning toe, camber or steering throw.
