38mm 6061-T6 aluminium damper for MINI-Z 4X4

The MZJ338 is a 38mm damper machined from 6061-T6 aluminium for KYOSHO 1/18 MINI-Z 4X4 scale cars. It fits front or rear damper positions on MINI-Z 4X4 Suzuki Jimny variants to help control body motion and improve balance during driving.

Preload is set with the top spring retainer to change spring compression and overall damper feel. The package includes a silver spring matching the original MINI-Z wire diameter plus a black spring for tuning options or spare use. Adjusting preload changes effective spring rate without affecting other suspension geometry.

Installation is the usual MINI-Z procedure: remove the stock damper, fit the ball ends and secure to the original mounts, then dial in preload at the top retainer. This item is an aftermarket tuning part for hobby use only.
