Upgraded aluminium swing shaft for Mini-Z AWD

This aluminium swing shaft is an aftermarket replacement for Kyosho Mini-Z AWD drivetrains, designed to swap in for standard steel or plastic shafts. It transfers torque between differentials while helping keep axle alignment consistent during load changes.

Installation notes: access requires basic disassembly of the MR-03 AWD gearbox region. Remove the necessary retainers, check the state of any bushings or bearings, fit the shaft in the correct orientation and ensure free rotation and correct gear clearances to prevent binding.

Tuning role: choosing an aluminium shaft reduces torsional flex relative to softer materials, giving a repeatable reference when setting gear mesh, tweaking suspension or adjusting drivetrain preload. This is aimed at drivability and serviceability, not higher motor output.
