Scale VW Beetle 1966 clear body for Mini-Z use

The Kyosho MZN240 is an unpainted Mini-Z-scale shell recreating the 1966 VW Beetle, supplied with matching rims for finishing. It is offered as a blank body for custom painting and trimming, not a pre-decorated model.

This shell follows Mini-Z series mounting geometry and is intended for Mini-Z chassis. Minor trimming of mounting tabs and wheel arches is normal to achieve correct clearance and stance when pairing with different wheel/tire combinations.

Practical fitting advice: perform a dry fit on your Mini-Z chassis, mark where mounting and clearance work is required, and secure using body clips or the chassis's native mounting points. For painting, use RC clear-body paints and sealants to maintain flexibility and crisp detail.

Intended for appearance upgrades and basic setup work on Mini-Z platforms, this body offers a straightforward canvas for painting, decals, and wheel/stance adjustments.

Remark :
Due to limited stock availability, please notice that some Kyosho items may have to order from the factory and the ready time is around 4-6 weeks. Customer purchases the item is assumed to accept the waiting time which allows us to order directly from the manufacturer if the item is out of our warehouse.
The body itself does not change wheel geometry, but trimming and chosen rims/tyres will determine final stance; check wheel offset and arch clearance during trial fitting.
Some chassis setups may require simple adaptors or shims to match rim bore and hex size. Confirm hex diameter and centre bore before gluing or final mounting.
Clean the interior of the clear shell with isopropyl alcohol, mask areas you want clear, and apply thin, even coats of polycarbonate paint allowing proper cure times between layers.
Avoid over-tightening mount clips and use flexible paints made for clear bodies to resist cracking. Check glue joints on rims and mount points periodically after first few runs.
