MR-04 RWD Readyset Highlights

This Kyosho readyset is supplied as an out-of-box MINI-Z complete on the MR-04 RWD chassis, targetted at indoor electric RC driving and users who want a tuneable platform. The JAGUAR XJR-14 No.4 LM 1991 body arrives pre-painted and mounted for display or immediate running after batteries are installed.

The MR-04 brings a lower centre of gravity and revised steering geometry over the MR-03, producing smoother steering characteristics and lower rotational drag thanks to updated knuckles and 3 mm inner-diameter ball bearings. A geared differential and ball bearings on critical shafts provide consistent handling and reduced drivetrain friction.

Body compatibility centres on the MINI-Z racer family; keep in mind the separately sold LED light unit MZW429R cannot be fitted to this Jaguar shell. For finer control, fit the optional MZW711 gyro and adjust sensitivity with the chassis volume control to suit driving preference.

Basic setup is straightforward: place 4 x AAA alkaline batteries into the car and 4 x AAA alkaline or Ni-MH batteries into the Syncro KT-531P transmitter, set trims and steering rates, and use the default training mode for lower-speed running. The platform supports many MINI-Z optional upgrades including alternative gears, shock choices, and chassis reinforcements for personalised handling.
