Upper Plate for Mini-Z MR-015 Chassis

This KZ-01B/WO graphite upper plate is an optional replacement part for Kyosho Mini-Z MR-015 cars. It installs as a direct-fit upper deck on KZ-01/BU/WO chassis, keeping the original mounting layout while changing the deck stiffness and how weight is spread across the chassis.

Fitting the plate follows standard Mini-Z procedures: remove the stock upper plate and secure this graphite unit using existing screw holes. Inspect screw lengths and clearances before final torqueing to avoid contact with the motor, servo, or receiver. No specialised tools are required beyond normal Mini-Z toolset.

As a tuning component the graphite deck raises torsional rigidity compared to thinner plastic plates, helping to focus setup changes on suspension and ballast. After swapping the plate, run consistent test laps and tune spring/damper settings or ballast location in small steps to achieve the handling you want.
