Graphite body mount plate for MR-015 Mini-Z shells

This graphite reinforced plate is an RC-scale reinforcement part tailored for Kyosho Mini-Z MR-015 shells, especially those modelled on the Honda NSX 2007. It provides a direct-fit mounting surface that stabilises the body shell where it fastens to the chassis with no change to chassis geometry.

Installation is straightforward: align the plate to the stock body posts and secure the shell to the MR-015 mounting points. Confirm body post alignment and perform light trimming of inner shell cutouts if required; the part does not come with additional screws. Reuse the Mini-Z original hex screws and standard hobby tools when refitting the body.

The graphite insert reduces local flex around the mounting points, creating a firmer anchor that helps prevent panel movement during aggressive handling. That altered stiffness can influence aerodynamic seating and feedback, so roll out changes gradually and note handling differences.
