This aluminium mono shock is an aftermarket suspension replacement for Kyosho Mini-Z MR-02 (MM) and MR-015 chassis, delivered in a blue anodized finish. It takes the place of the stock mono shock and is built to keep damper feel consistent while offering a tough aluminium body for repeated setup work.

Fitting is simple for familiar Mini-Z mechanics: remove the stock shock from the MR-02 or MR-015 mounting points, transfer any springs or internal components you want to keep, then refit using the original fixings. Use standard RC tools and confirm alignment and travel before running. Apply threadlocker and perform routine checks when used frequently on circuits.

In tuning scenarios this shock serves as a stable base for changing spring preload, oil weight, and damping. Because it directly replaces the original unit, any change to spring rate or oil will alter pitch and roll behaviour; make iterative tweaks and test between runs.
