The MR-04 RWD readyset is delivered fully assembled and dressed with a painted McLaren P1 GTR body, creating a compact electric R/C model that blends show-quality appearance with tunable chassis characteristics. It is intended for indoor use and small-scale track sessions as well as display.

The McLaren P1 GTR body captures the track-oriented variant of the P1, emphasizing aerodynamic and performance-focused details over the road-going version. This non-street-legal configuration was developed for closed-course demonstration and competitive demonstration events.

The package includes the pre-assembled MR-04 chassis, the finished McLaren P1 GTR body with decals, and a Syncro KT-531P 2.4GHz transmitter. Improvements over the MR-03 include a lowered center of gravity, revised front knuckles with integrated kingpins to minimize scrub, and matching bearing sizes front and rear to reduce friction. A geared differential helps with cornering behavior, while the rear pod uses a T-bar plate and coil spring damper; an oil-filled shock is available separately. The readyset is equipped with a 130-class brushed motor and requires AAA batteries for both chassis and transmitter. The chassis accepts many MINI-Z optional parts for tuning and can take an optional gyro unit for improved stability. Note that the optional LED light unit MZW429R is not compatible with the supplied McLaren P1 GTR body.
