This RC part replaces worn or stiff ball end terminations on Mini-Z Overland linkages, supplied as a pair under the MOL1332/BE reference. Made from nylon, the pieces are intended for use on linkage and suspension joints where smoother movement and less binding are desired.
Role and fitment: the ball ends serve as the joint between control arms and turnbuckles or steering linkages, influencing geometry and steering response; use them to renew old metal ends or to give a touch more free movement for tuning.
Fitting notes: screw the ball end onto the existing ball stud and check for correct thread engagement, avoid excessive torque to prevent stripping, and verify there is adequate clearance after installation so nothing contacts nearby parts. Check for wear at intervals if the model sees heavy use.
Tuning note: nylon ball ends can reduce friction at pivots compared with harder materials, which may damp small twitching; treat them as a minor tuning adjustment combined with suspension and toe settings.
