Mini-Z MR-04 bumper details

This Kyosho MZN-B04 front bumper is an aftermarket-style replacement crafted for MR-04 chassis arrangements and the Porsche962C bodyform that uses an IC tag cutout. It mounts to the chassis nose to recover shape and preserve body alignment without touching the chassis rails.

Fitment applies to MR-04 based Mini-Z configurations and Porsche962C bodies that reference the IC tag position. Installation makes use of the MR-04 front mounting points and the existing hardware so the bumper aligns with body posts and secures in the standard manner to keep correct clearance.

From a tuning perspective the bumper helps retain intended body position and the IC tag location for consistent lap timing. It gives a predictable contact surface during light impacts and is offered as an accessory for Mini-Z track preparation and presentation.

Use this part to maintain front-end fitment on MR-04 Porsche962C bodies while keeping IC tag functionality or to restore a worn front nose.

Remark :
Due to limited stock availability, please notice that some Kyosho items may have to order from the factory and the ready time is around 4-6 weeks. Customer purchases the item is assumed to accept the waiting time which allows us to order directly from the manufacturer if the item is out of our warehouse.
The bumper itself does not change suspension geometry, but front-end clearance and minor contact characteristics can influence how the body interacts with kerbs and other cars at speed.
Keeping the IC tag area consistent ensures your timing sensor is in the same place after body swaps, which helps produce repeatable lap timing results.
Most Porsche962C shells that follow the IC tag layout should fit without trimming. If your shell uses a different cut pattern, small modifications may be necessary.
The bumper provides a stable contact surface for light impacts typical in club races; it is not a heavy-duty crash part and repeated severe impacts may require replacement.
