The Yokomo SD-200BA swaps the factory servo saver posts on MR-4 series assemblies for blue anodized aluminum struts that cut unwanted flex compared to plastic originals. Knurled nuts are provided and a servo saver spring is included to maintain the damping characteristic.
Purpose and fit: installed at the servo saver to steering linkage junction, these posts stiffen the mounting point while preserving the protective travel that shields the servo from shocks. The stiffer connection improves steering consistency for drift setups and repeatable manoeuvres.
Installation notes: replace the original posts with the SD-200BA components, confirm secure thread engagement, and use the knurled nuts to lock position without overtightening. Check the spring position and servo centring after fitment. When tuning, adjust preload and spring seating in small steps and test to find the desired steering return and damping.
