Part summary and purpose

The Yokomo YOKSD008HG MR-4TCSD H.D Suspension Arm Set is an aftermarket replacement intended for the MR-4TCSD chassis, offering a beefed-up arm option for 1/10 on-road tuning. It is supplied to fit within the stock suspension arrangement of that model.

Fitment typically follows the usual swap method used on 1/10 on-road kits: remove the wheel, detach the existing arm, transfer hinge pins and compatible hardware when possible, install the new arm, and test the suspension through its travel. Standard hobby tools are normally adequate, but confirm clearance and fit before running the car.

As a tuning part, changing to these arms will affect geometry and stiffness relative to original components and can modify steering characteristics and balance. Perform alignment checks, inspect camber and roll center under static load, and ensure pivot freedom. Use incremental changes and track testing to dial in the desired handling.

Maintenance routines remain standard: check pivots for wear, retain correct torque on hardware, and keep joints clear of dust and grit. This item is for RC model use only.

Remark :
Due to limited stock availability, please notice that some Yokomo items may have to order from the factory and the ready time is around 4-6 weeks. Customer purchases the item is assumed to accept the waiting time which allows us to order directly from the manufacturer if the item is out of our warehouse.
Switching to stiffer or differently shaped arms alters suspension geometry and response, which can sharpen turn-in or shift mid-corner grip. Trial adjustments and test laps are recommended to assess the net effect.
No major differences: remove wheel, take off the old arm, transfer hinge pins and compatible hardware, fit the new arm and verify movement. Confirm hardware compatibility first.
After installation, recheck toe and camber, run a short test to feel steering response, then tweak shock and roll center settings as needed to restore balance.
