Finish coat: clear orange for RC shells

Mr.Hobby GSI-S49 is formulated as a translucent orange clear aerosol for hobby-scale use, enabling tinted overlays on painted bodies while retaining visible panel lines and decals.

Before spraying, confirm underlying paint is cured and mask areas you want to protect. Apply several thin, even coats rather than one heavy pass to avoid runs; allow brief flash times between layers and practice on a spare panel. When used correctly this tinted clear adjusts colour tones without concealing fine detail.

To fine tune the final look, layer thin coats to manage saturation and consider sanding and polishing the base clear for a smoother gloss prior to application. Store upright in a cool dry spot away from heat sources and always spray in a ventilated area.
