Carpet-Optimized Aluminum Main Chassis

This is the Yokomo MS-002A-2 replacement main chassis for the MS2.0 RC platform, crafted from a 1.5mm thick aluminum plate. It is aimed at RC-scale competition and practice where high-grip surfaces demand a lower center of gravity and a controlled amount of flex to help deliver drive to the track.

Install components using the FH socket screws specified in the original product details to fasten parts to the mainplate. The chassis fits the MS2.0 layout and the listed MSR-020 series, and it is intended as a tuning tool that changes vehicle response during acceleration and cornering on high-traction tracks.

As a chassis option for track use, the 1.5mm aluminum mainplate suits carpet and other high-grip layouts where reduced center of gravity and subtle flex can be used to refine traction and balance.

Remark :
Due to limited stock availability, please notice that some Yokomo items may have to order from the factory and the ready time is around 4-6 weeks. Customer purchases the item is assumed to accept the waiting time which allows us to order directly from the manufacturer if the item is out of our warehouse.
The 1.5mm thickness offers a balance between stiffness and flexibility; it is intended for high-traction track work rather than as the stiffest option, providing predictable flex characteristics for carpet circuits.
The chassis is specified for the MS2.0 layout and lists compatibility with MSR-020A and MSR-020 models.
Use the FH socket screws noted in the product information to fasten components to the chassis and follow normal mounting practices to prevent movement under load.
Expect a lower center of gravity and a measured flex that can enhance tyre contact and traction, which in turn alters corner entry and exit behaviour compared with thicker mainplates.
