The Arrowmax AM-MTX4-T0724 is a 16-tooth pinion crafted from 7075 hard aluminium for Mugen MTX-5 compatible drivetrains. It functions as an aftermarket gear to alter final drive ratio and tune the balance between torque and top speed in model car setups, not as a component for full-size machines.

During setup, the pinion sets the final ratio and must engage correctly with the spur and gearbox components. Check the gear teeth for damage, establish an even mesh across the tooth width, and confirm motor shaft alignment and bearing condition to avoid axial play. Smooth engagement reduces noise and premature tooth wear.
