Designed for lower center of gravity

This composite battery box gives saddle-style packs a lower mounting option so the battery mass sits deeper in the chassis, which lowers the center of gravity and sharpens on-track behavior. The tray form keeps the required clearance while holding the pack securely under load.

It accepts both shorty and mid-size saddle batteries; shorty packs let you slide the battery fore or aft to adjust balance. Retention is via split retainers and heavy-duty Velcro straps, and the tray includes cooling apertures to aid thermal control during longer runs.

Yes. Mount the tray where your chassis clearance allows, secure it with the supplied retainers and Velcro, and confirm there is no interference with drivetrain components.
Shifting a shorty pack forward or rearward changes the front/rear weight distribution and can be used to tune steering response and traction levels to suit track conditions.
The integrated cutouts help airflow around the pack to reduce temperature rise during extended runs, improving battery performance consistency.
After hard sessions, examine the composite for stress marks, check the split retainers for deformation, and replace Velcro if it no longer grips reliably.
