NT1 2027 front clamp: design and function

Supplied as left and right components, this aluminium upper clamp replaces the NT1 2027 front assembly parts and brings a Multi-flex two-position setup for altering front flex without touching bulkhead or shock geometry. The layout provides a straightforward tuning option to change chassis reaction.

Manufactured from Swiss 7075 T6 aluminium and CNC-machined with a black coating, the clamp is aimed at hobby touring car applications where predictable response and service access are important. The profile reduces excess material while maintaining an accessible service opening for front-end components.

Installation follows familiar NT1 procedures: secure to the existing upper posts and link points. Adjust the Multi-flex selection to tune steering characteristics and traction, checking left/right symmetry during reassembly for balanced handling.

Remark :
Due to limited stock availability, please notice that some XRAY items may have to order from the factory and the ready time is around 4-6 weeks. Customer purchases the item is assumed to accept the waiting time which allows us to order directly from the manufacturer if the item is out of our warehouse.
Try each position across a few laps, focusing on steering response and mid-corner traction. Make one change at a time to clearly see its effect.
No; the clamp alters flex characteristics mechanically while preserving the original bulkhead and shock geometry, so basic setup remains compatible with stock configurations.
After installation, verify suspension alignment and toe/camber settings as part of normal setup checks. The clamp itself should not force major geometry shifts if mounted correctly.
Regularly clean debris from mounting areas, avoid harsh chemicals on the coating, and confirm fastener torque after a few runs to maintain secure fitment.
