Adjustable Upper Arms for Sharper Handling

The Tamiya 54874 TT-02 Adjustable Upper Arm Set lets builders fine-tune camber across TT-02 models to gain predictable turn behaviour. The camber range is 0 to 2 degrees to aid traction when entering and exiting corners.

Features Included in the Set

Compatibility: Suitable for TT-02, TT-02R, TT-02RR and TT-02D chassis versions.
Construction: Made using glass fibre reinforced material to maintain strength under strain.
Components: Two stainless steel turnbuckle shafts plus low-friction suspension balls are provided for easy, accurate adjustment.
Note: Not compatible with Item 54639. Use Item 42236 for adjustments if paired with Item 53792.

How do I set initial camber settings for a TT-02?

Start at 0 degrees and run a few laps, then add small negative camber in 0.5 degree steps until corner grip and tyre wear are balanced for your surface.

Can I use these arms with aluminium uprights?

Yes, the arms work with standard TT-02 uprights including aluminium types, but check compatibility with any non-standard steering links or hubs first.

Do these arms change handling on loose surfaces?

On loose or gravel surfaces the effect is less predictable; small camber changes can help, but tyre choice and suspension tune are often more influential.
