Serious model builders will recognise the O.S. Engine OSMG1320 FF-320 as an engine focused on balance and reliable operation. The flat-four architecture is chosen to provide steadier running across a wide throttle band.
The FF-320's opposed cylinder pairs help cancel vibration, which protects servo mounts and fragile fittings. That reduced vibration also means less frequent retorquing and improved longevity for glued joints and plywood mounts.
With 13.3 cc per cylinder and matched bore and stroke, the engine covers a practical RPM spread from about 1,800-8,500. Peak output is around 4.1 hp at 8,000 rpm, giving usable power for a broad selection of medium to large aircraft types.
