Ready-to-Use Painted 1/10 Shell

This painted 1/10 scale monster truck body is provided with decals and is intended as a cosmetic swap for HL-150 style shells on CE-HL150 platforms. The factory-applied paint and separate decal sheet let you refresh the truck's look without custom painting unless desired.

The unit is a scale body only, designed to be mounted where 1/10 monster truck bodies attach on the CE-HL150 1/10 4WD RTR Monster Truck chassis. It is most often used to replace a damaged shell or update the truck for hobby runs and display.

As a lightweight plastic shell, it has minimal effect on handling in typical hobby setups, but heavier accessories mounted to the body can alter balance; keep heavier items low where possible.

How can I reduce weight if needed for performance?

Trim non-structural sections, remove excess plastic inside the shell, and avoid heavy aftermarket trims. Always maintain sufficient strength around mounting points.

Any tips for applying the decals cleanly?

Dry-fit decals first, then apply from one edge and smooth out air with a soft cloth. Use heat gently from a hair dryer to conform decals around curves if necessary.

Do the wheel arches accept larger tyres without modification?

Fit depends on tyre size and suspension travel. Trial-fit the tyres and check for rubbing during full suspension compression before finalising the mount.
