7075 alloy replacement inserts for the gearbox

This set replaces the gearbox seating points in PROMOTO-MX transmissions using machined 7075 alloy inserts, which are more wear resistant than the original plastic parts. They act as robust seating faces for shafts and bearings to improve longevity.

Fitting is straightforward for a model workshop: separate the transmission halves, remove the worn inserts and press the new alloy pieces into place. You may need to remove small amounts of flash or use a light press to ensure a snug fit; avoid overtightening case bolts. Correct installation keeps shafts aligned under load, helping to reduce drivetrain lash and maintain consistent gearing.

These inserts are designed for 1/4 scale PROMOTO-MX RC motorcycles only and must not be used on full-size machines. Check the compatible model codes in the list before fitting.
