Pitching damper rear spring - soft

Designed for the rear pitching damper on Yokomo R12 shocks, this setting spring is supplied in a rate softer than Yokomo's standard spring. It is intended as a replacement spring to adjust rear pitching response while leaving shock bodies and pistons unchanged.

Fitting is straightforward: remove the shock cap and spring retainer, slide off the original spring, and fit the R12-18RSS onto the shaft with the required preload and retainer. No special proprietary tools are necessary beyond routine shock service tools and a hex driver for shock ends.

For tuning the softer spring decreases rear pitch stiffness, which can improve traction and smoother weight transfer on low-traction tracks; pair these spring changes with damping and anti-roll adjustments to maintain balanced handling behaviour.
