Performance rotor for Racing Performer motors

This is a spare rotor intended for Racing Performer series brushless motor units used in 1/10 scale electric on-road applications. The rotor shaft is made from lightweight titanium to reduce rotating inertia, which helps improve throttle response and reduces the feeling of stalling when exiting corners.

Installation requires disassembly of the motor endbell and removal of the original rotor; this part is designed to replace the factory rotor in compatible Racing Performer motors, see the compatibility list below for supported chassis. No additional machining is expected when fitting to compatible motor variants, but verify shaft fit and retaining hardware during installation.

In tuning practice, reducing shaft inertia provides crisper throttle transitions and can change how the car responds to gearing adjustments. Use this rotor alongside other drivetrain and motor setup changes for best lap time gains. This product is for model use only.

Remark :
Due to limited stock availability, please notice that some Yokomo items may have to order from the factory and the ready time is around 4-6 weeks. Customer purchases the item is assumed to accept the waiting time which allows us to order directly from the manufacturer if the item is out of our warehouse.
By lowering rotating mass at the shaft, the rotor helps deliver a snappier throttle response, which can make transitions more immediate during aggressive acceleration on track.
Gearing can be left unchanged, but drivers aiming for lap time improvements may fine-tune gear ratios or motor timing to match the reduced inertia characteristics.
Lower rotor inertia can slightly alter regenerative braking feel or coast-down behaviour; evaluate changes when tuning brake settings to maintain desired handling.
Parts are manufactured to balance tolerances, but high-rev users should confirm balance after installation and correct any vibration before running at high RPM.
