The Yokomo YOKRP-085250 Ultra Shock Oils #25 Racing Performer is formulated as an RC-scale silicone shock fluid to help define damping behavior in silicone-filled shock absorbers.

Changing shock oil viscosity is a primary method to influence rebound and compression characteristics because the oil flow rate through pistons and orifices determines how quickly the suspension reacts. This lets you tweak handling without changing springs or dampers.

When overhauling shocks, work cleanly: drain the current fluid, check pistons, seals and shafts for signs of wear, then refill with the chosen viscosity and perform consistent test runs. Keeping detailed notes on each viscosity will speed up future setup choices.

Use a systematic approach to try different viscosities, pair oil changes with spring and mounting adjustments, and evaluate the car on the same surface so you can measure the oil change impact accurately.
