The HUDY 102591 sanding drum is an RC workshop tool for trimming and finishing rubber or foam racing tyres. The P120 abrasive yields a medium cut that helps establish consistent tyre contact and predictable handling during setup.

This drum mounts to common tire truer mandrels and compatible adapters; always verify your truer’s mounting method before use. Fit by sliding the drum onto the shaft or adapter and secure it with the standard retainer or collet supplied with your truer.

In tuning work the P120 drum removes small irregularities, shapes tread profile, and smooths bead areas so tyre performance becomes more consistent across laps. Replace the drum when the abrasive surface wears flat or glazing appears to maintain repeatable trimming.
