Rear lower arm upgrade for Hotshot buggies

These rear lower suspension arms are a machined aluminum hop-up designed for Tamiya Hotshot and Super Hotshot chassis. With a black finish and precise tolerances, the arms are a direct replacement for stock rear lowers to increase rigidity and improve suspension consistency.

Switching to aluminum lowers focuses on chassis-level improvements: reduced flex at mounting points helps the suspension maintain shock and geometry settings under dynamic load. The parts are intended for hobby RC use only and fit the rear lower mounting points on Hotshot-series Tamiya chassis without altering the intended suspension geometry when installed correctly.

Installation notes: remove the OEM rear lower arms from the hinge pin and mounting posts, place the aluminium arm into the same mounting locations, and secure with the original hardware. Check hinge-pin alignment and suspension travel after installation before running the model. No further chassis modification is required for standard Hotshot and Super Hotshot layouts.

Choose these arms when you want a firmer rear end and more repeatable suspension behavior for practice days or club competition on the Hotshot platform.

Aluminium lowers increase rear stiffness, which can tighten turn-in and stabilise exit traction; results depend on the rest of the setup and may need shock or anti-roll adjustments.
Possibly. Because the rear becomes less compliant, you may need to tune damping or spring rates to regain the desired balance and response.
They are cut to fit standard Hotshot rear hinge-pin positions; most common aftermarket hinge-pin styles that use the same mounting points will be compatible, but verify fit before final assembly.
Use the factory hardware and tighten to a snug fit; avoid over-torquing aluminium to prevent deforming the mounting holes. Re-check after initial runs.
