This aluminium rear lower suspension mount is an aftermarket replacement intended for the TRAXXAS 4WD GT4 TEC 2.0 platform and supplied by GPM with model code GT009. It reduces play at the hinge pin by combining a robust 6061 T6 aluminium housing with a POM insert to maintain alignment of the lower arm during cornering and power changes.

The main body is made from a high-strength aluminium alloy to resist flexing while the POM insert delivers a degree of controlled compliance and closes any gap at the hinge pin. The upgrade aims to make rear-end behaviour more predictable and durable rather than to alter the vehicle's suspension geometry.

Installation replaces the stock rear lower mount directly on the specified chassis. Fit using the included stainless flat head screws and follow your normal rear suspension service steps. After fitting, check that the hinge pin moves freely and re-tighten screws as required after a brief shakedown run.

The kit includes the small fasteners sized to match the original hardware so extra parts are usually unnecessary. Recommended setup checks: confirm hinge pin seating in the POM insert, avoid overtightening screws, and ensure no contact with nearby links or components before full operation.
