The JR-TA105-BK aluminum rear shock tower replaces the original rear mount on Tamiya TA01 and TA02 1/10 scale touring cars, offering a stiffer attachment point for rear shocks and suspension links. It is intended for model car setup and tuning, not for full-size applications.
With a firmer mounting surface the tower helps keep geometry stable under dynamic loads and provides a reliable platform when experimenting with shock locations or damping changes. This makes fine-tuning roll control and rebound response easier to evaluate lap-to-lap.
Installation mirrors the standard rear sub-assembly routine for TA01/TA02 chassis. Remove the stock tower, transfer any needed spacers or hardware, then mount the alloy tower using the existing screw points. Always verify full travel clearance and that moving parts do not bind.
