The YS Engine YSS6125S remote needle valve is an external inline adjuster for small RC glow engines, enabling real-time mixture tweaks without stopping to access the carburetor. It provides a practical means to tune idle and midrange response during practice or competition sessions.

Installation normally requires mounting the valve on an exterior panel and connecting it to the carburetor needle with a short linkage or pushrod suited to your model. Employ standard fuel tubing and clamp fittings; avoid forcing the linkage or bending the needle link to prevent binding. Note that the valve does not change the carburetor's internal geometry.

When tuning, make conservative adjustments and test the engine between changes to assess throttle response and temperature. Use the valve to make small enrich or lean moves from your baseline settings and observe exhaust residue and throttle smoothness as you proceed.

Keep maintenance minimal but regular: clear dirt and varnish, check threads and O-rings for wear, and replace any hardened or cracked tubing. These checks will keep the remote valve reliable and reduce time spent accessing the carburetor during events.
