40 Series tyre insert designed for Savage 21/25

The HSA-033 tyre insert is supplied as a pair and is intended for use with HPI Savage 21 and Savage 25 fitted with 40 Series tyres. It nests between the rim bead and the tyre carcass to help retain the tyre profile when cornering or under heavy loads on rough terrain.

Fitment is straightforward for Savage 21 and Savage 25 running 40 Series tyres: remove the tyre from the rim, position the insert evenly on the rim seat, then refit and secure the tyre using glue or pin clips as appropriate. Check seating on foam or layered tyres before the final glue step to prevent pinching the insert.

In tuning terms the insert provides bead support and reduces tyre deformation under lateral forces, which alters traction and steering feel. Combine insert use with tyre selection and air or foam adjustments to fine tune steering bite and mid-corner performance for practice or local racing.
