Rear suspension tuning plate

This aluminum rear suspension mount is an RC replacement designed to attach to the rear side of the rear suspension arm and change toe geometry for handling tuning. Altering the toe at the arm pivot changes corner behaviour: increasing positive toe generally produces understeer, while reducing toe shifts balance toward oversteer.

Tuning purpose: the component offers a stiff, accurately machined mounting surface for consistent toe changes across runs rather than any elastic compliance. Make controlled, small adjustments and evaluate the effect on your usual track surface to determine the best setting.

Installation notes: the kit contains the required hardware to secure the mount to the rear side of the arm; install with the supplied pins and screws. Check fastener tightness after the first sessions and inspect the mount interface for wear or movement.

How will a 3 degree rear toe change affect corner entry?

A 3 degree shift in rear toe will alter initial turn-in: expect a firmer, slower turn-in when increasing positive toe, while reducing toe can quicken turn-in but may reduce mid-corner stability. Test progressively to find the sweet spot.

Should I change other settings when fitting this mount?

Yes. When changing rear toe, consider small complementary adjustments to front toe, rear camber or anti-roll bars to rebalance the chassis. Tweak one parameter at a time to assess its effect.

Is this mount suitable for carpet and asphalt setups?

The mount provides a repeatable mechanical change useful on a range of surfaces. The exact handling outcome will depend on tyres and surface grip, so validate settings separately on carpet and asphalt tracks.
