Shock base cap for sealing and alignment

The Serpent 500892 Shock 13mm bottom cap is designed to close the lower end of 13mm shock bodies, forming the interface that contains oil and keeps the damper axis aligned with its mount.

Installation involves removing the shock, handling or draining oil as needed, and replacing the bottom cap by threading or pressing it into place according to your shock's fastener type. Always check and correctly seat any O-rings or gaskets and do not overtighten.

While this cap does not alter valving, it supports consistent oil sealing and maintains the correct end-of-travel geometry, which in turn helps deliver repeatable damping behavior between service intervals.
