Front bumper plate, graphite, for Medius X26

The Factory Pro O-SPP009 is an aftermarket graphite bumper plate produced for the Serpent Medius X26 RC chassis, supplied to replace the standard part and adjust front-end behaviour.

As a direct replacement for the stock bumper mounting area, the plate is intended to affect front stiffness and impact response without modifying suspension geometry. Graphite provides a balance of light weight and rigidity useful for small tuning changes to steering feel.

Fitting is straightforward: remove the factory bumper plate with its mounting hardware, align the graphite plate to the chassis fixing points, and fasten using the original screws while verifying alignment. No specialised tools or structural changes are needed for direct fitment.

Will this use my existing bumper screws?

Yes. The design accepts the original fasteners and mounts to the same points as the original bumper plate.

Is graphite likely to chip or crack under racing conditions?

Graphite is stiffer than many plastics and can be more brittle under severe impact; however, for track use where you are tuning stiffness it offers consistent rigidity and predictable behaviour.
