Introducing the Serpent X20FWD Carbon Touring Chassis

The Serpent 400035 X20FWD Carbon 1/10 EP is a compact, race-oriented touring car platform from Serpent. It takes the core ideas from Project 4X and adapts them into a lightweight, tuneable package for competitive running.

Geometry and Shock Performance

The X20FWD uses an evolved suspension geometry that emphasises stability and feel. Fitted with 50mm shock absorbers and a 12mm shock body, the shock package provides a wide tuning range when paired with universal shock springs.

Optimised Layout and Steering

A narrow bulkhead and ball bearing sway bar mount reduce friction and improve consistency. The ultra-low sway bar placement and refined Ackerman setup help the car turn progressively, while three battery mounting layouts allow you to fine tune front to rear response.

Robust Drivetrain and Carbon Rigidity

The gear differential employs precision-molded internal gears for even torque distribution. A lightweight aluminium spool with hardened steel outdrives balances strength and rotational mass, and the carbon fibre chassis provides a stiff base for sharp handling.
