The Serpent 401742 Linear Suspension Set fits the Project 4X Touring Car and swaps in longer aluminum connectors to deliver a more linear response from the link system. It is intended to be used with shorter links to quickly achieve correct link lengths, and the supplied ball joints make adjustment simple at the bench or track.
By producing a more even suspension characteristic through the full stroke, this arrangement reduces the degressive tendencies of the stock layout. Drivers will find the car steadier in high traction corners and easier to fine tune when altering other setup elements.
The concept behind this kit was validated by Viktor Wilck at the Reedy Race in 2017 where he earned a podium finish, and the 401742 set has seen competitive use at events such as ETS and EC.
Well suited for racers and weekend drivers seeking increased control and simpler setup changes on their touring car.
