When running on high-grip surfaces the Serpent 804377 Rear Chassis Stiffener helps reduce flex by joining the radioplate to the rear end. This makes braking more consistent and helps the car feel more planted entering corners.
By limiting chassis deformation under braking loads the stiffener improves brake modulation and overall stability, which is useful in club racing and practice sessions on grippy asphalt.
The part is intended for the Natrix 748TQ and installs without trouble on that platform. Owners of original Natrix 748 layouts may need to tweak the rear right bearing or brake holder to accept the new ball mount, or fit the updated rear unit.
