This aftermarket 7075 alloy 20T servo saver fits specified ARRMA 1/16 Mini Kraton models and a number of LOSI 1/12 vehicles. Manufactured from high-strength 7075 aluminium, it aims to combine low mass with reliable tooth engagement and extended service life. The spline form is a 20-tooth profile with a 4.7mm diameter to suit common 20T output gears.
The device operates as a shock buffer between the servo output and steering linkage, employing a spring to absorb impacts and lower shock transmission to the servo gear set. Note that some servos, particularly certain SPM units, may produce a tight interference fit; align the teeth and press evenly to ensure full seating.
Installation follows typical small-scale steering replacement steps: remove the original 20T saver, verify spline orientation, and press this unit onto the servo shaft until the spline fully engages. All fasteners are pre-assembled for quick fitment, and applying a medium-strength threadlocker to screws is recommended for vibration resistance.
Designed exclusively as an RC model accessory; it is not intended for use on full-sized vehicles.
