Drift stability diffuser for YD-2S

The Yokomo Y2-001SDA side diffuser is an aerodynamic add-on for the YD-2S drift chassis range. It works as a lateral flow corrector to boost side grip and give the car a steadier, more controllable response while initiating and holding drifts.

By narrowing the gap between body and chassis on some shells the diffuser can increase the effective stiffness of side panels and further stabilise the car. Keep in mind that front-side mounting clearance is required; this prevents fitting the diffuser together with the graphite side plate reinforcement bar Y2-002SB.

What tuning effects does the Y2-001SDA have?

The diffuser tends to increase lateral bite, which can make the car more predictable in slides; you may need to adjust steering and throttle mapping to match the new balance.

Will it fit with the Y2-002SB graphite bar?

No. The diffuser's front-side mounting requirement conflicts with the Y2-002SB graphite reinforcement, so they are mutually exclusive.
