Mount Base Description

This RC-scale slide rack base is intended as a drop-in replacement in the YD-4 standard parts set. The component is made of steel and serves as the mounting foundation for the slide rack assembly, offering support where the rack connects to the chassis.

Functionally the base positions the slide rack and assists in maintaining alignment under side loads; replacing a worn or bent base restores the intended rack geometry and reduces steering play that can blunt response.

Installation is aligned to the YD-4 standard mounting points, so verify proper seating during assembly and check rack travel and centring before final torque. No additional alterations are necessary for the compatible chassis listed below.
