Using the spray on model parts

Mr.Hobby GSI-S79 is supplied as an aerosol for RC-scale model finishing, labelled Mr. Color Spray Shine Red. It is aimed at producing a high-gloss surface on scale bodies and plastic parts used in model vehicles and related RC projects.

Use the spray to create a continuous glossy layer on model shells and other painted pieces. Clean surfaces thoroughly to remove dust, oil, and mould release residues, then mask areas you do not want painted. Work in thin, even passes to avoid runs and to build colour evenly.

Application hints: maintain a consistent spraying distance, apply several light layers rather than a heavy single coat, and allow adequate flash-off between passes to lessen orange peel. For masked transitions, use a gentle overlap and avoid heavy build-up along seams. Always trial-spray on scrap material before finishing final components to check adhesion and finish.
