Softer diff fluid for progressive power transfer

The Yokomo YOKCSDOT2 is a silicone differential oil formulated for gear-type diffs in R/C models. Intended as a tuning aid, it modifies slip behaviour inside the differential to change traction transfer and mid-corner feel for 1/10 on-road and touring car setups.

Fit it as a drop-in replacement: open the diff, drain old fluid, then add the correct quantity of the super flex Dot 2 to the gear mesh and internal chamber. Because the oil is softer, you will notice a smoother, more gradual transfer of drive compared with thicker diff oils.

Tuning tips: lighter, more flexible oils reduce abrupt locking and can improve corner entry and traction on low-grip tracks, though they may lessen locking under hard acceleration. Adjust in small steps and test on-track to find the sweet spot for your chassis and driving approach. Maintain seals and inspect for leaks after refilling to preserve consistent behaviour.
