This carbon fibre rear shock tower is an aftermarket replacement made for the TAMIYA TA08 PRO chassis and installs at the top of the rear gearbox next to the shocks. It swaps in for the original tower to provide a stiffer, lighter shock upper mount on 1/10 scale RC cars.
Multiple upper mounting holes allow you to change the shock pivot position, adjusting leverage and angle to tune rear traction and body roll. The range of positions makes it easier to dial handling toward tighter cornering or a more forgiving rear end.
Fitting is simple using the same mounting locations found on the stock part. Check screw lengths and thread engagement during installation, and confirm shock alignment after final assembly to keep intended travel and geometry.
